As usual it always takes me a while to get used to something different. When these dolls first came out, I was not sure wether I liked them or not. Every time I saw them I would have this inner battle if I should buy one or not..well as you can see, I decided that I would. She sat on my shelf for a very long time before I decided to play with her and get a feel for what I might like to make for her. I have recently posted my first creation for her. I have fallen in love with her and am going to purchase the rest of the set. They have beautiful eyes and with their different styled wigs available are easy to create new and exciting personalities. It's going to be fun.

I am still going through my boxes and making some difficult decisions on which dolls to sell. Moving into a much smaller apartment, I don't have the room for all of my displays and cabinets. I came across all of my Lady Paradise Dolls. I was fortunate enough to purchase a good stock before they discontinued the line. I am hoping that some day, I will finally be able to get to the kits I still have and dress up my dolls. As I am writing I am looking at my 1912 Mothers Day Frock. I am so pleased with it. It came out exactly as the model on the pattern book. It did take me almost a year to finish, but I did not work on it consistently. So much pink, I needed to take a break in between and do something else. The only doll I was not able to purchase was the platinum. I keep looking for her on eBay. Perhaps one of these days I will be lucky enough to find one..I have a great pattern for her Happy crocheting..happy playing
